Abe Perlstein had me on his radio show on KEBF-FM, 97.3, The Rock to Cayucos, Morro Bay, Los Osos, Baywood Park, and portions of the Chorro Valley. I was on for a half hour. He played my music and songs for 30 minutes and chatted about them in between: Brillante (Brass quintet), Trio (piano, flue, clarinet), Ellen Show Theme, She Hates Me, Wegetarian Wampire, and Captain Positive were the song played.
March 6th
The Canzona Women's Ensemble performed my choral piece, O SON OF SPIRIT! composed to Bahá'u'lláh's The Hidden Words, Arabic no. 2. The performance was at 3 PM at the San Luis Obispo Mission.

Christine Lavin, guest DJ-ing for John Platt, played another Rollins/Levine song SHE'S LOVELY on the show Sunday Supper on WFUV 90.7 fm (in New York)
March 8th
My song EVERYTHING MUST GO, with lyric by Hillary Rollins, was performed by Maude Maggart at the Rockwell Table and Stage in Hollywood as part of the recurring A Little New Music.
April 8th
I composed some music and did some "sound design" for Debra Ehrhardt's one-woman show Cock Tales which is playing several weeks at the Santa Monica Playhouse. Joel Zwick (director of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, the highest grossing romantic comedy of all time so far) directed it.
July 11-16
My musical theater collaborator Richard Castle and I were flown to Door County, Wisconsin to workshop our show, OKLAHOMA IN WISCONSIN. About a six professional actors, 3 assistants, a musical director, a stage manager, a director, were assigned to help Richard and I fine-tune our show. It was heaven on so many levels.

October 18 My fourth album, WITH THE HANDS OF POWER, was released by 9starmedia.com. November 13 A song I wrote with lyricist Hillary Rollins (and performed by the incredible Maude Maggart) was played on John Platt's radio show, Sunday Supper, guest-hosted by icon Christine Lavin between 5-8 PM Eastern on 90.7 FM in NYC and streaming at wfuv.org. November 21 Richard and I received an email from Jeff at Northern Sky Theater announcing that our musical, OKLAHOMA IN WISCONSIN is officially making its debut at their theater in the summer of 2017! |
